We have a long standing relationship with Coles providing consulting services for refurbishments, extensions and rebranding since 1999.
Services range from performing site audits and reports, creating 3D modeling of the supermarket, assisting the Coles planning team finding the most efficient retail outcome during the design, documentation and construction phase.
Refurbishment programmes involve coordinating various consultants in a collaborative team.
Many of the Coles supermarkets are either placed within a shopping centre or stand alone so obtaining existing documentation and capturing the unknown is a challenge when documenting.
This requires a team with great knowledge and forward thinking not only in the initial phases but throughout the project duration.
As the main consultant we manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Working closely with the Builder, Project Manager and the Client extending to Building Owners, Councils, Refrigeration, Merchandising and Signage Contractors.
Despite the fact that the projects are fast paced and Control plan amendments are occurring during the implementation phase, the projects need to meet budget and time deadlines.
Working proactively with all stake holders involved, challenges are identified early and resolved before the project is complete. Across team
collaboration ensures for a smooth documentation and delivery process. Developing key personnel’s expertise in the field of retail and fitout planning as well as applying value add and practicality to the project is a key component within i2C.
Over the past 15 years i2C has delivered over 100 supermarket refurbishments and extensions. The recent deliveries of the Next Generation supermarket stores in Balgowlah and Broadway set the benchmark for Coles’ new look and feel concept.
